Ardoise

I was nervous about going so dark on my feature wall, but the matte finish and soft tonal variation make it feel more like a textured fabric than paint. It shifts subtly in different light, which keeps the room from feeling flat. Exactly the moody, rich look I was hoping for.

The texture of this limewash is incredible — it dries with a subtle, uneven depth that makes my wall look like aged plaster. The matte finish soaks up light perfectly, giving the room a cozy, dramatic feel without being too heavy.

I painted my living room accent wall with this and the way light plays across the matte finish is stunning. The warm grey shifts slightly depending on the time of day, exactly what I wanted.
