Buttercup Yellow by Sarah Sherman Samuel

I painted my kitchen pantry with this and it looks like a warm bowl of buttercream. The limewash texture gives it that old-world, hand-applied feel that’s really unique. It took two coats but the soft tonal variation is exactly what I was hoping for.

The matte velvety finish is stunning on my bathroom walls—it catches the light softly without being shiny. The natural limewash creates subtle tonal shifts that give the room so much depth.

I was worried yellow would be too bright, but this shade is so creamy and soft it makes the whole room feel cozy. The natural limewash gives the walls a subtle texture that catches light differently throughout the day.
